Security Deposit
A 25% NON REFUNDABLE deposit is taken at the time booking to secure your appointment. If the deposit fails for whatever reason, we hold the right to cancel your booking if we struggle to reach you within 24 hours.
Booking Amendments
All booking amendments have to be done at least 48hours before your appointment. Amendments can be made by using the view/change appointment button towards the bottom of your appointment confirmation email. Alternatively you can also call us for assistance and we can change the appointment for you providing it is within the time frame stipulated. If you do not reschedule your appointment at least 48hour before your appointment, cancel or don’t show up this will result in the loss of your deposit.
Service refunds
We want you to be happy with the service you receive from M J A Hair. If you are not satisfied with anything, please let us know via call or email. Although we do not offer refunds on services we are more than happy to rectify any service within one week of your original appointment, providing it is not a fault that you may have caused. The issue would be rectified free of charge. However please note that services CANNOT be refunded.
Cancellations
Cancellations and no shows will result in the loss of your deposit. We hold the right to reschedule any pre-booked appointments up to 24-48 hours notice will be given. These instances are exceptional and would be related to the following reasons:
-illness
-absence
-unforeseen emergencies
It is very unlikely, but in the event that this should happen, we will endeavour to reschedule your appointment at your earliest convenience.
Lateness
We politely request that you arrive on time for your appointment, we understand unexpected events do happen and give up to 15 minutes leeway, but please give us a courtesy call to inform us. If you’re more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to rearrange it for an alternative day/time and you may lose your deposit.
Refunds/Returns
We do not offer refunds or exchanged due to the nature of the product and for hygiene reasons, unless the purchase is faulty. If hair extensions appear faulty due to quality issue, the fault must be reported to us via email and sent back for us to inspect within 7 days of the receipt date.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by colouring or bleaching and is completely at your own risk. We will not refund any wigs that have been bleached, dyed or tinted.
We will not be held responsible for any wigs that have been damaged due to negligence of the customer.
Refunds will not be issued by the dissatisfaction of colour, issues with natural tapering, split ends, shedding or concerns that are typical with natural hair products. Although the issues mentioned rarely ever occur if at all, as we have tested the quality of our wigs and a check the quality of every wig before posted.
Payments
As soon as you place an order online your credit card will be charged. In the event of a return, we will only send back refunds via the same method used to purchase the item(s).
Any orders with different billing and postal address’ will be put on hold, to which we will then request that you provide us proof of address in the form of government issued ID / any supporting documentation of the alternative address before your order is processed. This information must be submitted within 24hrs of placing the order. Failure to receive the necessary information will result in your order being cancelled.
Delivery/ Shipping
Please allow a total of 7-14 business days from day of purchase to receive your item. We will provide you with the tracking informations as soon as your item has been dispatched.
Processing times can vary in the event of a sale, this means we may experience slight delays in dispatching your order. However we will keep you updated.
PLEASE READ – Delays may now occur. Due to COVID-19 there has now been an impact on delivery and shipping services. Things are changing daily and these circumstances are completely outside of our control, so please so be mindful that there may be delays to your online order during this time.
We only send orders to the BILLING ADDRESS. If customers require a parcel to be sent to an alternate address then they would need to submit proof of their Billing Address details with their order within 24hrs from the time the order was made. We only accept ID in the form of a bank statement or Government issued ID.

The cost of fitting is NOT included in the price of a full lace wig. The current cost of fitting a M J A Hair full lace wigs is £50 (normally £75).
We are not liable for any potential import duty & taxes when shipping outside UK
Lost/Delayed parcels
All parcels in the UK are sent via Royal Mail. M J A Hair is not responsible for any missing or delayed parcels due to the negligence of the couriers we use. In any rare case that a parcel is missing or lost, you would need to wait for 30 days before we can make a claim to the shipping companies. Only when a claim has been submitted, will we be able to issue you a refund or send out a replacement.
